Certamen Machine Available for Loan
ClassConn has purchased several sets of Certamen machines for Latin Day and has them available to schools for a month's loan. The cost of the loan is $25.00; they are also free to schools that will pick up and return them to Manchester.
The machines are the usual set for four players and include the console box. When a school wants to receive a set, the Latin teacher must contact Nancy Lister. The machine will be sent at the beginning of the month. The school assumes the responsibility for returning the set in good operating condition at the close of the month. The machines must be returned insured for $600.00. No machines will be loaned during May or June. The loan must be prepaid to ClassConn. If the teacher wishes to pick up and return the machine, there will be no charge but all other conditions apply.
If you wish to receive a machine, contact Nancy Lister, 68 McKinley Street, Manchester, CT 06040. Telephone: 860-646-9982 or e-mail: nllister@aol.com (mailto:nllister@aol.com).
