Distinguished Service Award
The Distinguished Service Award is awarded to members of ClassConn and emphasizes service to the profession of teaching seen as an integral criterion, in that outstanding service presupposes significant classroom teaching. The purpose of the DSA is to recognize the outreach and mission of the recipient. The chair of the committee is Sheila Houlihan, 100 Center St., Wethersfield, CT 06109. Submit a short letter of nomination describing the nominee and his/her contributions to Classics in Connecticut. The winner will receive an inscribed silver bowl at the ClassConn Annual Meeting on October 1, 2005.
Two distinguished service awards were presented in October 2004.
